What you will do

Reporting to the Sales Director – New Zealand, the National Sales Manager will manage a team of 9 New Truck Sales Account Managers, throughout New Zealand.  Your responsibilities will include;

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting an already dedicated team to achieve sales objectives
  • Working with the Sales Director to develop the business plan to achieve sales targets
  • Work cross-functionally with all areas of the business
  • Identify new prospects and opportunities, develop an understanding of customer business, in relation to Scania product needs
  • Develop strategies, forecasting and reporting to market trends and activities
  • Lead, guide, motivate and develop your team, fostering a culture of service and excellence

Who you are

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic National Sales Manager to deliver overall financial objectives for New Zealand. Your ability to forge strong working relationships both internally and externally, coupled with your drive to achieve will ensure your success in this role. Extensive sales management experience ideally gained within heavy truck, OEM or Capital Equipment Industry will be highly regarded. With a strong track record and projected growth within New Zealand, it is a great time to join Scania.
