About the role

The Customer Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring excellent customer relationships are maintained by promoting Scania's service portfolio. Positioned at the front counter of the Workshop, you will be the conduit between our customers and the workshop team, ensuring our customers, internal and external, are kept up to date with job progress.

Responsibilities will include

  • Ensuring customer requirements and expectations are achieved
  • Working closely with the parts and workshop teams to ensure effective delivery of work orders
  • Managing quotes, payments and credit checks
  • Create and invoice work orders, job lines and allocate work to the workshop
  • Conduct vehicle handovers 

About you

To be successful in this exciting role, you will have the following skills and experience gained in front of house customer relationships or sales position.

  • Strong understanding and experience in Automotive after sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and show initiative
  • Effective in problem solving, negotiation and influencing
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Mechanical or workshop aptitude or related industry desirable
  • Current HR license (preferred), company willing to sponsor obtaining license
